(An additional $.50 per pound will apply) This clay is a "Low-Slump" formulation. This means that even when molten, it will attempt to resist flowing. But, with slight agitation, it will flow smoothly. This can be of great advantage when casting, whereas the clay will stay where you put it, without dripping into a puddle at the lowest point in your mold(s). This clay was originally developed for use with Platinum-cure silicones. As such, it will not inhibit the cure of most silicones. To date, all silicones test-cured, (in direct contact with the clay), have cured with no problem. But, to be on the safe side, please test for compatability, with your silicone, before using this clay for large projects. |
